How does voice tracking work?

Tap the microphone button and speak your expense naturally — for example, "coffee $4.50" or "Uber ride to airport $38." The app uses on-device speech recognition to transcribe your words, then AI text parsing extracts the amount, category, and merchant automatically. Just confirm and it is saved.

Is my data private?

Yes, completely. All expense data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server. Voice recognition runs entirely on-device using Apple's speech framework. We have no server-side database of your expenses. Your financial data never leaves your phone.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open Voice Expense Tracker, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." This will sync your subscription status with the App Store. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase.

Can I export my expense data?

Yes. Go to Settings and tap "Export Data." Your expenses will be exported as a CSV file that you can share via email, AirDrop, or save to Files. The CSV includes date, amount, category, merchant, and notes for every entry.

What if the AI categorizes an expense wrong?

You can edit any expense after it is created. Tap the expense in your list, change the category, amount, or any other field, and save. The app learns from your corrections over time to improve future categorization.
