PLAYRIOT LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Voice Expense Tracker mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. About Voice Expense Tracker

Voice Expense Tracker lets you log expenses by speaking naturally. The app uses on-device speech recognition and AI text parsing to extract expense details from your voice, then stores everything locally on your device.

2. Information We Collect

Authentication: If you choose to sign in, Voice Expense Tracker uses Sign in with Apple. We receive only the identifiers Apple provides (a unique user ID and, optionally, your name and email). Your Apple ID credentials are never shared with us. Authentication sessions are stored locally on your device.

Expense Data: All expense entries — amounts, categories, merchants, dates, and notes — are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is never uploaded to our servers.

Voice Data: Speech recognition is performed entirely on-device using Apple's Speech Recognition framework. Your voice audio is processed locally and is never recorded, transmitted, or stored on any server.

AI Text Parsing: After speech is transcribed on-device, the text is parsed locally to extract expense amounts, categories, and merchants. No text is sent to external AI services.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To parse your voice input and create expense entries on your device
• To categorize expenses and calculate budget summaries locally
• To authenticate your session via Sign in with Apple (if you choose to sign in)
• We do not collect, transmit, or store your expense data on any server
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising

4. Third-Party Services

Sign in with Apple: If you use Sign in with Apple, authentication is handled by Apple. Apple's privacy policy governs that data. We only receive identifiers Apple provides.

Apple Speech Recognition: On-device speech recognition is performed by Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer. Depending on your device and iOS version, some processing may occur on Apple's servers per Apple's privacy policy.

Apple StoreKit: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's privacy policy governs that data.

5. Device Permissions

• Microphone: Used only when you tap the record button to speak an expense. Revocable in iOS Settings.
• Speech Recognition: Used only when you tap the record button. Revocable in iOS Settings.

6. Data Storage & Retention

All expense data is stored locally on your device. This data persists until you delete the app or manually clear your data within the app. We do not maintain any server-side copy of your expenses. If you use Sign in with Apple, your local session persists until you sign out.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share any of your data with third parties. Your expense data never leaves your device. We have no server-side database of user expenses.

8. Children's Privacy

Voice Expense Tracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post changes at this URL and update the date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
